Greenways provide safe & accessible corridors for active recreation and non-motorized transportation through parks & on streets. DOT is responsible for the planning, design & implementation of greenways on city streets.

Last Round of Community Workshops Coming Soon

Please join us for the third round of workshops this October.  We will be presenting the final route of the Implementation Plan and soliciting one last round of comments before publication.  We will be doing four meetings, one in each neighborhood along the planned Greenway route.  Please come out and give us your opinion.  The workshops are as follows:

Red Hook: Tuesday, October 11th, 6:30-8:30pm, Long Island College Hospital, 339 Hicks Street, Brooklyn, NY

Sunset Park: Tuesday, October 18th, 6:30-8:30pm, St. Michael’s Church, 352 42nd Street, Brooklyn, NY

Greenpoint/Williamsburg: Tuesday, October 25th, 7:30-9:30pm, Brooklyn Brewery, 79 N. 11th Street, Brooklyn, NY

Downtown Brooklyn: Wednesday, November 2nd, 6:30-8:30pm, Bourough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street, Brooklyn, NY
